Purse for my Sister

My sister has been on the lookout for a new purse for quite some time now. We found a pattern at a local fabric store and she loved it. So she brought me the pattern and we looked over it. She told me she could possibly do it and I laughed and told her she wouldn't make it through it but if she would get me the fabric she wanted I would make it for her. So she brought me the fabric and in an afternoon I had it finished.

She loves it. I may even have to borrow the pattern for me one of these days but I might make a few adjustments to the pattern to fit what I would like.

Circle Skirt

I mentioned a while back that I had been in the process of trying to make some circle skirts. Well this is the first one I finished. I have another one almost done it just needs some embellishments. I love the way it turned out and it was super simple to make. I love the circle skirts!

Summer/Fall Wreath

I have been really lazy this year and my spring wreath was still on my door a few weeks ago. Well that had to change. I picked up a bushel of flowers at Wal-Mart for a few dollars and then bought a wreath. This is what I came up with.

It is a wreath I can use not only for fall but also that transition phase between summer and fall.

Soft and Snuggly Baby Blanket

My sister-in-law recently had a baby boy. I was so excited to do something for a boy! Seems like everyone lately has had girls so working with blue fabric again has been nice. I found this pattern at a local fabric store. It is a mix of the soft and snuggly (minky) fabric and flannel fabric. The minky fabric is so soft and perfect for little babies. I loved this project!
