I was at a local fabric store and I saw they had a pattern for a variety of ties. I find it super hard to find ties for my little guy that are long enough for his age (he has a very long torso) and that don't cost a ton. I have been looking for patterns forever and was excited to see that this one has tons of different sizes including adult ties. The pattern maker is found here.
I decided one night to make his tie and it didn't take very long at all. They are quite easy and I love the fact that it is a tie you actually have to tie. I did have to get some help from my dad and brother as to how to tie it using a double Windsor knot but I can do it by myself now! I used a cotton fabric so that I could wash it but I would like to try some other fabrics.
